Brad Crawford
Many of the top players in the 2025 college football recruiting cyclealready made their intentions known, but there are 10 players inside the top 130 who remain uncommitted. Six five-star prospects are among those best-available, including a pair of defensive linemen and top-end wide receivers.
Ohio State holds the top-ranked class for 2025 with 25 commits, followed by Alabama. The Crimson Tide lead the country with six five-stars committed, and are in the mix for several others ahead of the 2024 season kicking off this week.
With the hay in the barn for many of the nation's elite programs, most are hoping to put the finishing touches on top-rated hauls along with hoping to retain the current players they have committed and potentially avoiding flips elsewhere.

Here's a look at the top 10 uncommitted prospects and where they're leaning according to the latest 247Sports Crystal Ball projections:
1. Elijah Griffin, DL, Savannah (Ga.)
247Sports ranking: No. 8 overall; No. 1 DL
Crystal Ball projection: 100% Georgia
The only uncommitted top-10 player, Elijah Griffin has three predictions to Georgia, those coming before spring. The Bulldogs have a pair of defensive line commits this cycle —Stephon Shivers and Jayden-Jamal Hanne — and saw another, Christian Garrett, decommit earlier this summer. Griffin hasn't announced a verbal commitment to any program and is one of two five-star pass rushers the Bulldogs are trying to land who remain undecided. Miami and USC are the others in the mix.
2. Justus Terry, DL, Manchester (Ga.)
247Sports ranking: No.13 overall; No.2 DL
Crystal Ball projection: 100% Georgia
With no plans to announce anytime soon, Justus Terry hasn't named a finalist group, but Georgia, Alabama and Florida State are perceived as the programs in the mix for his services. Five predictions for Terry all side with Georgia and the handful of picks came this summer including nods from Dawgs247 analyst Kipp Adams and Benjamin Wolk, along with 247Sports national recruiting analyst Tom Loy. If the Bulldogs are able to sign Griffin and Terry to pair with two other defensive linemen this cycle, that would be the nation's top class at the position.
3. Andrew Babalola, OT, Overland Park (Kan.)
247Sports ranking: No.15 overall; No.3 OT
Crystal Ball projection: N/A
The summer offseason prior to his senior campaign was quite busy for the nation's top uncommitted offensive tackle out of Kansas. Andrew Babalola took official visits to Auburn, Missouri, Stanford, Michigan and most recently, Oklahoma. All five of those programs could use a player of Babalola's talent up front considering what those teams need at the position. Babalola is 6-foot-6, 280 pounds and figures to be an immediate impact player as a freshman.
4. Michael Terry III, ATH, San Antonio
247Sports ranking: No. 20 overall; No.1 ATH
Crystal Ball projection: 100% Texas
Michael Terry III took visits over the summer to Texas, Texas A&M and Oregon and the belief is the Longhorns are his current leader, though it's certainly a four-program battle with Nebraska included. Featured on the recent 247Sports "Freaks" list, the nation's top-rated athlete has a unique skill set. Texas and Oregon reportedly want to utilize Terry as a multi-position threat on offense, while the Huskers plan on putting Terry primarily at wide receiver, per 247Sports recruiting analyst Mike Roach.

"It's definitely those four and I'm still very much considering those options," Faraimo told 247Sports recently. "I've been fully invested in my own season and on my own team. If I don't dominate out on the field, then I don't get any of the offers or the attention. I need to make sure I give it back to God and give it back to my team, my coaches.
