Excellent. We have been using Atomic Plumbing for years. They are consistently excellent which is a tribute to the owner, management and technicians they employ. Justin and Will came out for this call - they were respectful, knowledgeable and efficient and got a complicated drain system for a condo complex cleaned out and restored to service promptly. The also took all the recommended CDC recommendations for Covid transmission prevention and properly and extensively protected the apartment infrastructure from being impacted by their work. Just first class all the way. Chelsea was the receptionist/dispatcher - comms were excellent and efficient and she kept us up to date on scheduling. You just can't go wrong with Atomic Plumbing for any plumbing job big or small. Highly recommended.

Scott and Kair both did a amazing job. Both techs were very professional as well as really narrowing it down with what my issue was. Both men did a great job with keeping everything nice and tidy as they were working and we’re also pleasant to be around. Also Scott saved myself a lot of money because my insurance did not cover all of the repair for everything. I was out of pocket but not near as bad as I thought I could be.Both men are really awesome. And just from this experience loan that I had with them I hope that they both can get some well paid time off to spend some time with their families. Maybe even a holiday bonus would be great for them. If I can provide it just myself I would because they really saved me because I was without draining water for over seven days. The issue probably would’ve been done all in one day but thanks to my insurance it took over a week.I would like to use the service again if it needed to be. Even they are all the way in Virginia Beach and I am in Hampton I don’t mind them coming all the way back up here to do the work that is needed.

We had a number of plumbing issues and improvements, including a new water heater, drain, leaky faucet, new cut-off valve, and hot water circulating system. All was handled well, the Service Pro, Sean, was thoroughly professional and pleasant, and stuck with the job until it was finished. We have an older house (circa 1900) and these types of projects can be challenging, but Atomic lived up to their agreement, and then some.

10-7-22, there is nothing worse than a stinky and leaking toilet. Called Atomic on Thursday evening and they were out here Friday morning. The technicians were respectful, courteous and knowledgeable. Will use them again in a heart beat. Thank you for fixing our problem.

5/3 - EDITED, Update below original review.I really can't understand how a company that charges twice the going rate for a service can get such good reviews on here. Yes, they do good work and they show up promptly, but I was charged over $1700 for a gas water heater replacement, and the going rate is between $600 and $800. The worst part was, I knew I was being ripped off, and even told the technician his quote was ridiculously high, but because I'm a military wife with young children and my husband is currently away, I didn't have enough time or resources to be able to find another plumber before the weekend started, and I had to go with their insanely priced estimate. I had warning bells going from the minute they told me they would charge me $65 for the diagnostic (though I already knew what was wrong, just wasn't about to tackle that complicated of a job myself). But because someone had recommended them and their google reviews were good, I proceeded with the service call. And, despite the fact that my military base stickers are on my car, which the technician saw, he certainly didn't mention their military discount when he ran the numbers. If you're in an emergency situation and willing to pay more than twice the rate you'd otherwise pay for a decently-done job, go ahead and call them - but I will NEVER AGAIN do so. Lesson learned.UPDATE: The owner, Jim Steinle, contacted me and expressed deep concern over my experience. This company is absolutely on point when it comes to their customer service; I wasn't happy, and he made it right by listening to my concerns as well as refunding my account a significant amount to defray the cost that I had paid. Very impressed by their commitment to stand by their guarantee of 100% customer satisfaction. Again, their work was solid, their technician polite and on time, and the work completed in a timely fashion.

Quality work. Price was fair enough. The simple fix wouldn't have been so simple had I attempted it.

I recently bought a new townhome and was having the refrigerator installed and discovered the ice maker water valve was leaking when opened due to the age of the fitting and was unsure the extent of the repair that would be needed. I also had a sewer cleanout pipe cap that needed repair. Was recommended by a friend to Atomic. I called and they had a technician dispatched in about 15-20 minutes! The receptionist was friendly and called me the moment the crew was on the way.Chris and Kale arrived promptly and explained everything that they would be doing and gave me several options from simple fix to worst case. Chris and Kale were able to fix the valve leak and my sewer pipe cap issue quickly, and put me at ease during my new home transition period. From my initial call to the time Chris and Kale finished the repairs it was not even 2 hours! You cant get any better!Thanks to the Atomic Plumbing team for being friendly, quick, and transparent from start to finish!

We came form an out of state trip to find out that our Rheem tankless water heater was not working. I immediately googled “tankless water heater” and the Atomic was the very first company that showed up in my search. I immediate called them on a Monday morning and within two hours, Justin R. arrived to troubleshoot the unit. Upon further inspection, Justin discovered that the unit was badly corroded and needed replacement. I was about to have guests to come visit the next day (Tuesday evening) and I asked Justin how long would it take to have a new heater installed. He said they had a Ranai Tankelss Water heater in stock and that he can have one installed the next day (Tuesday). As he inspected the electrical outlets in our laundry room where the heater was to be plugged in, he said that he had to have an electrical GFI outlet to connected to because my old water heater was plugged in with an extension cord to a non-GFI outlet, and furthermore, it was out of code. He was looking out for our safety! After we spoke with Atomic customer reps, we completed the order and ordered the unit. This is when it gets better. Atomic reps returned my call that same Monday after Justin left and told me that the water heater would not be installed until Wednesday, that’s two days later. Well, the reps spoke to Justin and he agreed to reschedule his Tuesday appointments with other customers for ours. He showed up early on Tuesday morning and patiently waited until the electrician installed my GFI outlets. Then, (Justin) and his associate installed the brand new Ranai Tankless Water heater flawlessly and left the whole laundry room. Immaculately clean. Justin and his assistant went out of their way to get the unit up and running just in time. Our out of town guests came in that evening and we had hot water in the house!!! I can’t say enough about Atomic and Justin’s exceptional professionalism, courtesy, and his willingness to go the extra mile for a customer that he just met. His can-do attitude to get the job done, coupled with his desire to put us in the front of the line because of our out of town guest situation, attests to the outstanding service Atomic provides to their customers. Atomic, you have customers for life here, and Justin, you have new friends for life. Justin, you are a great American!

I called with a plumbing emergency and was told it is not an emergency and they couldn’t help me for 5 days. My shower isn’t working so actually that is an emergency? I’m about to move to Japan in less than 24 hours and asked if she could refer me to anyone else. The woman I spoke to couldn’t recommend any other plumbers. I think it’s ridiculous that she didn’t know anyone else in the same line of work.

We moved the tub in our bathroom. Chris and Kale handled moving the water and the drain for us. Chris spent time with us to explain exactly what he was doing and answered all of our questions. When they were done, the floor and tub were cleaner than when they started! The work is precise and looks fantastic.It's obvious that Chris is an expert and that he cares about his customers. Sean Dyer and his team installed a tankless water heater in our house and did some minor work on faucets/etc and they were all an absolute pleasure. They are extraordinarily professional and clearly both well trained and experienced. Got big tanks out of my attic, no damage to wood floors or walls, very clean looking install... nothing but good things to say about them. This is my second round of major work that Atomic did for me, and my second very positive experience.

I am a local commercial real estate investor and I’ve used this company twice last year for two big jobs costing roughly $50,000. For small jobs I use my own in-house plumber that unfortunately recently retired so I decided to try Atomic for a simple toilet replacement. They charged me $1,700+ to replace the toilet. Ridiculous price for any plumber to charge regardless of the size of the company. Beware of this company and their astronomical and absolutely ridiculous pricing!!!!

Trey was awesome! My repair was done in a timely fashion, Trey and his helper were extremely polite and professional, and the job was done right! Would 100% recommend them!!!

Toilet was leaking at the supply line, called Atomic plumbing. Was given three different quotes, two which were for fixes I did not need. First quote was $178.61 to replace fill valve and supply tube. Second quote was $189.00 for minor tank rebuild which included new fill valve, new flapper and new trip lever w/ one year warranty. Third quote was $293.97 which would be major tank rebuild which included removing toilet tank, replacing tank to bowl seals + bolts, replacing fill valve, replacing flush valve and trip lever w/ three year warranty. REALLY!! REALLY!! Called a Handyman service and had brand new supply line put in for $49.00 dollars.There are service providers that do not charge an estimate fee on top of over priced quotes that include fixes you don't need. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE TAKING THE FIRST OFFER!! Oh, I'am a female that don't know any better.

Justin Duke was my plumbing technician and he did a fantastic job diagnosing the problem and fixing it. Very happy with him as a person and the work he did! My bathtub had a lot of trouble draining so I had a lot of hair and whatnot backed up in the tub. Icing on the cake was he literally cleaned my bathtub when he was done. Totally unexpected and he didn't have to do that. Very happy with Atomic and the work Justin did!!

Ryan D and Zach came to install my new hot water heater. I have worked with Ryan D before and of course I requested him when it was time to remove and install a water heater. Once again Ryan & Zach both kept me informed of what they were doing. Once the water heater was installed they found that I had a leak and explained the problem to me. They gave me two options and let me choose which worked best for me and my budget. The needed repairs were made right then and there. During a dishwasher install the technicians busted the water supply line going to the dishwasher. In order to stop the flooding we had to turn off the water to the entire house. We called Atomic and they send Randy C. Out within an hour. He fixed the pipe and restored water to the house. Randy was super knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this company but more so Randy C!

Atomic Plumbing, ala Sean and his crew-mate, Paul, helped me establish an alternate source for heating my house than a 30+ year old furnace with location issues up in a difficult to access part of my attic, as well as with repair issues on it components-due to it being Jerry-rigged into that space for its functioning. The original contractor was giving me the one option of buying a $10k+ HVAC unit.I looked for other ways, found the vented, oxygen level regulated gas wall space-heaters with a cost and installation price that was confirmed by Atomic's estimate to be less than 1/5th of what I'd be spending if I followed the first contractor's suggestions.Sean and Paul came out and did an efficient job getting the gas lines into position for the inspection and later mounting of the wall-heaters. They were personable, as well as professional, in their duties. Ryan and Zach came to my house on both Saturday nigh and Sunday. I had a houseful of company one person was 86 years old and our plumbing was backed up. Ryan was able to get us comfortable for Saturday night and assuring me that the flooding would stop. On Sunday he and Zack came out and fixed the problem. Both were not only very professional but also very personable and easy to work with. It's been a couple years since I've used Atomic Plumbing. This time I needed a water heater replaced as the old one started leaking the night before. The customer service was excellent. I talked to Deanna to see if I could get someone out the same day. She was very nice and professional and called me back to let me know the ETA. The technicians, Justin D. and Mike Casey arrived in less than 30 min. They were both professional, prompt, and helpful. They ended up replacing the water heater and insulated the pipes. After the quick install, Justin showed me how to adjust the temp, where the on/off valve is located, and explained the State heater unit to me. I am very happy with Atomic Plumbing and the service yet again!

Atomic Plumbing and Drain Cleaning has a great Office and Service Pro Technical Staff. My daughters kitchen sink was clogged during the weekend and it didn't matter how I try to correct the problem it stayed clogged. Monday morning I called Atomic at 8:00 a.m. @ 11:30 Randy C. was correcting the problem. 1:00 p.m. my daughter has a kitchen that is working, a father with less stress and a life long relationship with Atomic. Thank you Atomic.That review was months ago.....now my daughters bath tub is clogged, called Atomic yesterday (Thursday) and today (Friday) 1130a.m. I am back at my home, and my daughter has a free draining unclogged bath tub thanks too Justin and Atomic Plumbing and Drain Cleaning.

Drain backup in utility sink last night after hours. I knew exactly who to call after using Atomic Pluming and Sean D several years ago. It is interesting that although it was 4 years ago the service was so good that I remembered them. If anything the service was better this time if that was even possible. The communications from Atomic on the scheduling and heads up of when to expect the tech was excellent. Sean D is as good as technician in the plumbing field as you will find. Thank God for good plumbers and specifically Sean. Give him a bonus or a raise for sure. He is very knowledgeable and efficient on how to best do the job required and proposes several solutions. Lets you know how the job went. Right up front on the cost. He is enthusiastic about his work and craftmanship. My job was not inexpensive but I knew the job would be done right the first time and after the work has been completed I would say worth the expense. If you need a good plumber use Atomic and Sean, you will not find any better.

When our water heater was on the way out we called Atomic. The next day we met with a technician to talk to us about a new water heater. Sean D. was super professional and honest. Within a few days we Sean came back with another technician and they installed our new water heater. Sean was very thorough and made sure to do the job right. I could not be happier. The technicians were courteous, professional, and they cleaned up after they were done. I couldn't be happier!

Called to try and get an estimate for work. The only way to get an estimate is to pay $179 dispatch fee. This is the highest I've seen so far.

This was Roberts fourth visit to her home, each time for different services and Zach‘s first. As always Tiffany in the office as well as the rest of the staff are more than communicative prior to the visit and keep you up-to-date on the travel time of the technician. The technicians are friendly, intelligent, accommodating, and beyond respectful and neat. Jimmy P removed a 6 inch diameter root that had grown around my main water line. He was diligent in finding our the cause of the leak, kept me informed throughout the process and made sure that I was up and running with water for my family in less than an 8 hour period. It was a huge undertaking. Jimmy P was first class and polite . The had the necessary experience that was needed to get this water main break under control. He made the best of a horrible situation. Extremely pleasant and talented. I would highly suggest that all of my friends request Jimmy P at ATOMIC!

I had my home completely re-plumbed with new water and drain lines and install a new tankless hot water heater for 2 baths, laundry and a new kitchen. Sean and Zach did an outstanding job. They were both professional, knowledgeable and friendly. One thing that I noticed was that they both worked well together as a team. Great teamwork! Sean was very meticulous in his work not only for how it functioned but how it looked. They removed all exiting piping and daily left the job site spotless. Eric was AMAZING. I've been having problems with the water pressure in my home for a while, and all the other plumbers that has came out here was all WRONG on what was wrong with the pressure. I had an emergency gas leak in my house and VNG shut me off (good thing). Called Atomic and was up and running in three days. Would have been much sooner if it wasn't for the city inspector. Either way, they're workmanship is legit, their technicians are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Techs 'Trey A' and 'Mike C' arrived with the intention of resolving a slow drainage issue and installing a popup assembly. Due to their thorough inspection and patience, they discovered a pipe leaking under the crawl space. In addition to that, they determined an issue under the kitchen sink after I mentioned that I saw water on the floor once which had not happened again. I was told 'we won't leave until we make sure everything is ok'. They were very kind and professional. They worked quickly, but were very thorough and very knowledgeable. It was as though I had been sent angels because I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Thank you so much Trey and Mike, and thank you Atomic for hiring great people who care about doing an excellent job.

Randy initially came out to our home to replace a drop in kitchen sink. What I really appreciated about him was he came in listened to what we were looking to do. He assessed the situation, looked at the sink and diagnosed the problem and concluded that the current cast iron sink we had was in really good shape and saw that all we really needed was to repair the drain area under the sink. He gave us prices for three different options and from those options let us decide which was the best option based on price. Some companies would have come in pulled the sink knowing it could be repaired just to make more money off the job and we would have been none the wiser that repairing the sink was an option. He also replaced the garbage disposal as well while under the sink he noticed some wood damage from previous leaks that occurred in the past. While his company did not do that type of work he offered suggestions on what route we could go to repair them. VERY PLEASED with Randy’s professionalism and quality service. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

Justin and Mike are fantastic. Third time they have been to my 60 old house. They’re quick,clean, and they do top quality work. Smart and efficient, they let you know what they propose to do and why, and they go over options. Justin and Mike are honest and they take pride in their work. Theymake my home a better place.

Mike and Ryan visited us for what we thought was a leak in our drainage line. It actually ended up being a clog that was causing water to leak through the wax ring in our upstairs toilet.It was on the expensive side for having a roto done to clear it out but they did the job very quickly and got us up and running again. They do offer a military discount as well which was nice.The thing that really stood out for me though was I planned to install a new toilet that I grabbed prior to their arrival and they noticed I had purchased the wrong feed line for the new toilet. They not only provided me the correct one but they pointed out the flange for the toilet was lower in the floor which likely caused the leaking as there was only one wax ring on the old toilet. They gave me two wax rings and told me to stack them and that should provide better protection in the future if we were to have another clog down the road. He initially came out to replace a busted garbage disposal then I made mention of my bathtub and he asked to see it. He then gave me an estimate on both the disposal and the tub. Probably the best idea I had that day because they are wonderful people! Deanna was very nice and understanding. So my spicket out back became stripped and had a pretty bad leak. Atomic had a 24hr on call service line and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. When I got off work earlier than expected they sent someone out early to take care of the problem. James arrived and was super polite, professional and very informative of what he was doing and why. Because of the way my house is set up he had to rig an extra fitting on my pipes and didn't stop working til he was satisfied the job was done correctly. I've had no issues with my spicket since he installed a new one and zero leaks where he cut and replaced piping. He was honest and upfront about the whole process and I am tremendously satisfied with his work and should another problem come up I can't fix myself I know who I'll be calling.

Jimmy P from Atomic was excellent! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I normally complete all of our plumbing issues but the issue we had this last time was beyond his ability because I could not locate a 2nd access point to our sewer drain. Jimmy was able to probe with a camera and use a pressure bladder to both break the clog and locate the other access point for our next clog. Definitely not cheap because the charges are per task instead of per hour, but it was worth the money to know it would be done correctly.

Absolutely AMAZING service! Justin D. came out to fix a pipe that was broken at the wall from contractors who were removing my countertops and sink. Other plumbers came out but were not prepared for the job and unable to perform the work needed. Unfortunately, to get to the broken pipe he had to cut away at the back of my cabinets and drywall. He told me it would be a “rough” cut but it needed to be done to fix it correctly. Well, he not only fixed the pipe beautifully, the “rough” cut was done perfectly and with precision. It literally looks better after he did all of the work. To top it off my house smells good from the cleaning he did afterwords. He cleaned and wiped out the bottom on my cabinets that now look 100 times better than before he got here. Thank you so much for coming out and saving the day for us! I recommend Justin D. 100%. I hope I don’t have any more plumbing issues but if I do, I know who to call!

Had a main line back up on a cold rainy day. I checked google for a reliable plumber and called the first one that came up which was Atomic. Called and talked to DeAnne and she was very helpful. She had Ryan call me and I told him what was going on, he told me he would be here in 15 minutes. 12 minutes later Ryan pulled in and I showed him the problem, he told me the price and I told him to go for it.Ryan had this power snake the likes of which I have never seen before, it not only powered through the clog with no problem he was able to tell me how far down the pipe the clog was to within a couple of feet by the number of sections he used to reach it. To be on the safe side He ran the snake a few feet past the clog which put it just past the city clean out.Both DeAnne and Ryan were courteous and professional and got my problem resolved quickly and at a reasonable cost.I will be recommending Atomic to everyone I know.Hopefully Ryan will be able to take care of others with his wonder snake.

After first calling another well-known sewer repair company, who was unable to clear my sewer line nor locate the blockage point, I called Atomic. David and crew showed up the same day and got to work. They had the equipment needed to find not only the blockage in my 150’ sewer line, but also two clean outs that had been covered up. The blockage, initially believed to be tree roots but ultimately determined to be a communication line, could not be cleared - so David and crew replaced the last 30’ of my line over the next few days. They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and very hard working from start to finish, even washing the dirt from the street and gutter.I’m a hard core DIYer and typically don’t leave reviews, but I was so impressed with David and team from Atomic that I wanted to leave this one. I can’t say enough about my experience with Atomic and Sean! I had sewer pipes leak in my crawlspace that had to be redone. Sean was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. I had gotten multiple estimates, but felt that he was the most thorough. Sean and Eric did an excellent job and were always on time and hard at work! The coordination between him and scheduling was very accommodating, and they worked with me to get the job done before my out of town guests came to stay with me. I have peace of mind knowing that it was done the right way now. I highly recommend Atomic!!

the work was fine but it was just way too overpriced for what they did. We chose atomic because it came so highly recommended and we have never had to use a plumber since moving here. While the work was done well it was just too high of a price and we wish someone warned us they are one of the highest priced in the area. While the workers were understanding I was caught off guard by the price they mentioned a warranty as being a selling point. What they didn’t mention is that it’s a one year warranty on a pipe that realistically should outlive me. So that was pretty disappointing. We aren’t necessarily upset with the work but $600+ (after a military discount) for less than 12” of pipe when we identified the exact location of the leak, the exact place on the pipe that was cracked, removed the carpet, removed the drywall, and baseboards for them, then they did barely over an hour of work it was just way overpriced. (Literally $600 for an hour of work and parts- I wish that was my salary!)For that cost on something that ended up being quite a simple fix for an expert I would have went with someone else. That one year warranty just isn’t worth the high price tag.

I called and scheduled a consult to get a diagnostic and estimate. James M was dispatched and assessed what would need to be done to fix the problem. Called Atomic at about 5:45 on Friday night because our hot water heater had water coming out of the pressure pipe steady for almost an hour. Mylissa answered the phone and was very helpful and said someone could be out in an hour. Jimmy P. arrived in about an hour. Examined the issue and stopped the water coming from the pressure relief. We decided to replace the 13 year old water heater in stead of just fixing the issue and waiting for another to develop. Jimmy P. said he would be back out with the new water heater at 8:00 on Saturday morning. He was on time and ready to go. Worth it! I have given up on trying other plumbers and just call Atomic. They show up when they say they will, do the job correctly, and stand by their work. I also think it's completely reasonable that they ask to be paid for their professional time when doing an inspection/estimate. Justin is a one man show. I discovered the problem Thursday evening & Justin arrived 1st thing Friday morning, assessed & made recommendations to repair the water supply line leak underneath my driveway. I followed his plan of action & he repaired the leak & driveway. He also repaired some additional plumbing issues. There is awesome value in Justin's service provided to my family. He was very upbeat, professional, high energy, decisive & just as motivated as I was to fix the leak. He addressed & answered all my concerns & questions & made sure I understood the repair process.Prior to repairing, Justin suggested a 3rd party to help isolate the leak. This was to help prevent digging up entire driveway to find the leak. The leak was isolated & it save me AT LEAST an additional $3,500 from other estimates during the prior 24 hours.Justin made our day & we were able to go on our vacation the following week without having to worry about having someone be available to be around for repairs.

I never write reviews for company's but I was throughly impressed and very pleased with the service of this company...so much that i'm here writing a review. I called due to having an outdoor spigot that hadn't worked in 5 years. First, the receptionist (i'm sorry i don't remember her name) was great, very professional, and easy to explain my issue to. I asked to rescheduled to another day due to me not wanting a tech working out in the rain, and they accommodated and had me first in line the next day. Then Robin came out and fixed what i thought would be a complex issue, in 5 minutes (and he didn't make me feel dumb for it being a simple fix)! Overall, i'm extremely pleased with this company, this is my second time using them and will continue in the future if need be.

Had to call Atomic due to shut off valve not working. They responsed promptly and sent over Ryan D. He was very efficient and helpful in explaining what needed to be done to repair the valve. I recently had to have my drain pipes in my home re-piped and while Atomic wasn't the least expensive (or the most), they more than made up for it by quality and dependability and were very responsive. They are no fly by night company and stand by their work. Scott Perkins was the plumber at my home over multiple days for the very large undertaking. He oversaw the replacement of both my drain and water pipes from the city connection to my home and all the drains and main stack in my crawlspace. He went to great lengths to make sure things were done the right way and took the time to answer the many questions I had during the process. He personified what it means to be a professional and is a great reflection upon not only himself but Atomic as well. I would recommend him/Atomic to anybody, and in fact I did and I was surprised to see a $50 credit for my next service arrive in the mail. I doubt I will be requiring that anytime soon however, with the high quality of Scott's work.

Ryan D. has been to my house twice in the past year. Last summer I called Atomic Plumbing on a Sunday night due to a leaking water heater. Ryan arrived first thing the next morning and finished up around 6pm. The job took awhile because plumbing codes have changed a lot over the years and when he finished everything was better than ever.Almost exactly one year later the service line from the street sprung a leak inside a wall in the garage. Within about 30 minutes after speaking with Atomic Plumbing on the phone Ryan was here to look and quote the job. Since I had already exposed the leaking pipe by removing some sheetrock he had the water restored within an hour. I can't say how Atomic pricing compares to other companies. When my water goes down I just want it fixed and don't spend time comparing prices. I do intend to call Atomic Plumbing if there is a next time.q

Mid afternoon call made to Atomic when kitchen sink and washer drains were backed up. Then discovered bathroom commode when flushed made the tub gurgle. Tech Ryan arrived within an hour which was faster than expected or promised. Cleaned the main line and then the kitchen. Sounds simple enough but it wasn't. Now all is flowing like a rivers stream. After putting away his equipment and inspecting everything before for the day he noticed that the disposal was leaking under the sink. It was at the end of the day now. To avoid overtime pay he said he would come back in the am. Since I don't have a dishwasher I said let's not replace the disposal but re plumb the drain. He arrived on time today and finished the project.This is my second experience with Atomic and it's equal to if not better than the first thanks to Ryan Dean. Ryan is a true profession. From arriving, surveying the issues, explaining the costs, work performance it was excellent. Nothing in today's world is cheap or free. The price paid to Atomic is worth it. That's a good feeling to be satisfied.I would suggest to all future customers reading this without previously calling Atomic to do so. Matter of fact even if you have a problem tell them as it will only be an opportunity for them to improve. All companies we call irreguardless of trades need the feed back.I will call them in the future when a need arises. Was impressed enough that I called the supervisor and informed himhow good the service was. I've used Atomic twice, now, for two separate issues, and both times they've been fantastic. They were able to get out to my house in a timely manner, and they have arrived well within the time window I'd been given. On both occasions, they were even finished prior to the end of the arrival window!Today, I had Eric Toupin out to fix a leak in my kitchen faucet, during which he discovered that the entire faucet was out of commission. Eric gave me a number of options about the fix, and I wound up telling him to just have a faucet delivered from the office. Eric wasn't pushy about any of the options, and gave me time to think and quotes prior to engaging in any repairs. (That military discount *really* helps, too!) He, like those that came out for the first issue with a shower, was wonderful. Eric was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.While I hope that I have no further problems with my plumbing in the future, I also know that should they arise, Atomic will be my first call, and I'll be recommending them to my friends as well!

Based on various reviews and a number of references on the Next Door app, I decided to select Atomic Plumbing for the first time. The initial call to set up an appointment was easy and the representative explained the diagnostic fee and billing process clearly. For clarity, we had some plumbing repairs that didn't require same-day attention, so I was not off-put that we had a service call scheduled for the following week. One of our requests was to install a couple of new shower heads I ordered, which were expected to arrive before the service call. We also had a couple of slow-draining sinks and another sink that had low water pressure. The company's office staff were extremely communicative, sending emails the day I called to schedule an appointment, the day before service, and several emails the day of service. In addition, I received a call an hour into the 4-hour window to inform me of the status of the next available technician. Also, one of the emails I received before the technician's arrival included a picture and a short bio of the technician assigned to us. I have never received such outreach before by any contractors! The technician Robert had arrived within a couple of hours into the scheduled time. He was professional and possessed an even-keeled demeanor. He quickly assessed our needs and gave us the proposed quote. Each time he entered the house he made sure to put boot covers and a mask on, he asked us to check his repairs to ensure we were pleased, and he made sure to clean up the work areas before he left.I was satisfied with the service we received and would use Atomic Plumbing again and ask for Robert to be assigned to us.

Poor business ethics. Unfortunately, they are not transparent with homeowners when they do work in their house. I’ve never heard of a business not being able to provide a homeowner with documentation of repairs being done in their home.THEY ENTERED MY HOUSE, BUT THEY WON’T GIVE ME DOCUMENTATION OF WHAT THEY DID.

Had a bad experience with Robin Lewis. He installed my new plumbing for my new tiled shower. After the tile was installed he came back to finish the installation, but stated he couldn’t get to the valve and needed the tile guy to cut out the tile a bit more. After the tile guy came over and cut the tile back to where Robin asked, I let Robin know. It has been almost two weeks now, and Robin won’t return my calls, or texts, so I had to call another company to come help. The new plumber said the reason he isn’t returning my calls is due to him installing the valves too far back into the wall. The new shower wall has to be torn out, so the plumber can fix the pipes, to allow for the hardware to be properly installed. Plumber is estimating about $2,000.00 out of my pocket, because Robin Lewis didn’t install the plumbing correctly.

He listened to my concerns, offered intelligent options and far exceeded my expectations while completing the requested work. James and Paul did an AWESOME job from start to finish with our toilet replacement and installation!! We unfortunately had a bad experience with our general contractor and his plumber and needed immediate assistance. Both the technicians were courteous and very knowledgeable. Sean and Zach helped me today. We had some old pipes that due to stress on the joints and age had come apart. They both did plenty of research to find the issue, went over the costs with me and recommendations. Once we agreed on the fix they went to work and knocked it out. The shower/tub now drains perfectly, I dont have to worry about the pipes being an issue in the future and they cleaned up their mess and recommend a good dry wall tech to fix the very small cut they had to make. This was my first time using Atomic Plumbing but I wont use anyone else again. I had 2 other companies look at this issue over the last year, only Atomic Plumbing took the time to use a camera and fully test and find the problem so it could be corrected.I really cant say enough about their work. We had a plumbing issue late at night, we called Atomic and a technician (Jim) called right back. He came out to unclog our drain at 2 am! On top of it all, Jim noticed a picture on the wall of me in my uniform, thank me for my service and let us know that Atomic offered a military discount (that even applied to the emergency call)!!! He recommended additional service to check for possible existing damage in our pipes but did not pressure us to get it from them, it was a no-brainer to use Atomic. Called Atomic plumbing after kitchen was flooded with water the evening before, was given a time a technician would be out. Technician Jimmy Powell showed up early and after checking problem He went right to work. He stated he would have to cut a hole in the ceiling to get to the the drain. After some careful measurements his cut was right on target. Jimmy fixed the problem and was a true professional from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to call Atomic Plumbing for any plumbing needs, and would highly recommend Jimmy Powell as the technician.

Found some water near our hot water heater, called Atomic to have it checked out. Christopher Scott arrived in record time and diagnosed the problem with the condensation line, not the hot water heater, which was good news. The job turned into a bigger fix with having to dig up the pvc drain pipe outside which was the cause of the blockage. Chris returned the next day with his helper, Dalton and together they fixed the problem, cleaned up the area inside and fixed the landscaping area outside. Very pleased with this company and the employees. Price was reasonable and we were given a senior discount as well. I called Atomic Plumbing to fix a hot water valve in my shower that would not shut-off. Jim Miller and Scott Perkins showed up to do the work. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly guys. The valves in this shower were extremely old but Jim and Scott had all the right parts and the knowledge to change them out and repair it the correct way . My water heater stopped making hot water and my husband could not get the pilot light started. I found reviews of Atomic on-line and remembered the commercials on tv and the radio. My husband had a friend at work which also recommended Atomic. We called and Atomic sent Sean D and Paul. They arrived within an hour. They were very professional, in a neat uniform and represented Atomic well. Sean and Paul explained what was wrong and gave me a repair price and a replacement price and explained both. They did not pressure me into which decision I should make like other companies I have had in the past. We chose to replace the water heater. They came early in the morning to do the job as we had plans later in the afternoon. They finished early and cleaned up in no time. I was very impressed with both of these employees as they are an asset to your company. Excellent work! We had a leaky pipe -- after hours, of course -- and within 12 hours, we were back to normal thanks to Atomic. Technician Scott Perkins arrived right on time and was so polite and professional! He quickly identified the leaky pipe and replaced it (didn't just patch it!). It's clear that he takes pride in his work. The office staff are kind and friendly, and they kept in regular contact with us about the appointment. Just a great experience all around. Atomic made a very stressful situation manageable, and we'll be calling again for some plumbing work that we have planned.

I called Atomic because I wasn’t getting hot water. My hot water heater heats my house also. Low and behold I had a leak somewhere. The leak was flooding my yard and my neighboring yards. It was the week of Christmas right before the freezing weather. I was worried everything would freeze and cause more problems if I had to wait another week for the leak detection people. Scott was able to get a leak detection company out to find it ASAP. Scott was able to come out two days before Christmas while the temperature was falling and fix my leak which was down behind my water heater in my back shed. I’m so grateful for him. He did a wonderful job. He was always in touch with me letting me know what was going on. Atomic plumbing is lucky to have him as an employee. My experience started with a claim being denied by my home warranty company due to improper installation of a gas line and water heater from my homes previous owners. Needless to say I was in a bind with a pipe leaking somewhere between my attic and my hot water heater for my Apollo Heating system. It was late in the day when I called Atomic but the female who answered the phone was very polite, understanding and knowledgeable. My appointment was set up for the next morning.I was assigned Justin Duke as my Plumbing Technician. Justin showed up on time with a very positive attitude and began to evaluate my problem. Justin identified issues with the way my system was connected for hot water as well as the gas line. Justin provides me with multiple options that would best fit my budget and didn’t push anything on me. Once I made my decision Justin immediately went to work. This was no easy task and it took up his whole day. Justin and his apprentice David worked tirelessly to complete this job in a timely manner and without compromising the quality of their work.When all was said and done both Justin and David still had a very positive attitude and left a lasting impression on not only myself, but my whole family. I was beyond impressed with the vast knowledge and experience that Justin has and by his dedication for his job.The work ethic that was displayed by Justin and David are second to none. These two gentlemen made a horrible situation into a great situation by their display of honesty, professionalism and dedication. Detailed, high quality work from, great staff. Would definitely recommend. We had several quotes and several different approaches to our bathroom upgrade. They were professional and we will be using them for future projects.

We had 4 leaks in our 2-story office building that added up to a bad odor. Under Brian's leadership, the team from Atomic did a great job identifying where the leaks were (smoke tests) and then cap the various pipes.

We had a main line clog which was backed up into our tub. We contacted Atomic to schedule an appointment for the next morning and the process was great. Customer service was terrific and we received a call confirming the service in a timely manner. Jim M, the technician was awesome. His is experienced and well mannered and solved our problem in a short time. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the service was performed on a Saturday. I would reccomend Atomic to anyone who has plumbing or draining issues, you guys are great.

Sean arrived promptly and evaluated the repair. He also offered suggestions as to how to improve the outside shower. Work was done in about a hour. He was very professional and courteous. While Sean was quite good, I felt the price was a bit high for an hour of work. Hence the four stars. Not a reflection on Sean and his work.

I was informed of the payment forms that would be acceptable. I was able to schedule the appointment to fix a leaky toilet for the day and time suited to my convenience. I was called when they were on the way and after explaining what he felt was wrong and what he would do to repair it and the overall cost if he found nothing else, he got straight to work and was finished within an hour. I have used Atomic Plumbing a few times, and they have provided excellent service each time. Yesterday I called to have a sewage leak in my crawl space fixed. The office offered to try to fit me in the same day I called but as I had plans to be out, they offered to give me an early morning appointment instead. I was given a courtesy call 30 min prior to the arrival of 2 technicians. They were professional and friendly and assessed the problem. They explained the problem and their solution and proposed a fair estimate. The repair was completed in less time than they estimated. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing repair.

Mike was very knowledgeable, professional, and he carefully considered and explained every alternative way to correct the problem. Our kitchen was not connected to the sewer following a remodeling. He managed to open our slab with minimal disruption and mess. When he left us we had a perfect repair in a clean and tidy package. I called Atomic Plumbing & Drain Cleaning because I was having trouble with my water heater. I chose Atomic because of the awesome service I received during a previous call when I had a different plumbing problem.I called at 7:00 am on a Saturday morning and received a call back at 7:30 from Beverly. She took my information and assured me that a technician would be out early that afternoon. She called back at around 1:00 pm to let me know that Jay S. would be arriving shortly and sure enough he did.Jay S. was courteous and professional. He assessed the problem and presented me with the options. Surprisingly, one of the options was to do nothing. There was absolutely no pressure. I authorized him to proceed with the service and he replaced the thermostats in the water heater in less than 30 minutes and everything was up and running perfectly.I appreciate good, thoughtful customer service. I never felt pressured or that I was being taken advantage of. The choice was always mine. The fact that I got such quick, professional service on a Saturday was definitely a plus. Gave a ridiculous quote for a pretty easy job. Quoted over $500 to replace an outside faucet. I think they were happy when I said no thanks since he just pocketed the wasted $70 fee for the estimate. I ended up doing it myself and it cost $25 in parts taking me a little over an hour (and I am a certifiable plumbing idiot, just ask my wife).I would recommend going with someone that would provide a free estimate so you don't fall into the same mess I did and end up wasting that fee.

They were authentic in their concern that the job be done on time. The technician, Ryan D. was extremely professional and very courteous. I appreciated Scott P., Mike C., and Josh who came out to replace my hot water heater in our investment property. I had a snag with the electricity and despite the snag, they were positive and professional the whole time. They assured they will see the job through even if they had to come out another day. They were kind and respectful and I appreciated their efficiency throughout the process.

My co-worker recommended me to this company, since I am a new homeowner and do not know anything about plumbing and any good plumber around the area. So I read all the reviews here. Many were positives and a few negatives, so I gave it a shot. $69 to diagnose my clogged pipe, which no brainer and only took less than 30 minutes, and gave me a price quote that is ridiculously expensive ($253 to dissemble and assemble the toilet and $293 to snake the upstairs drain). He also told me that if they found the flange to be broken then that would be another $200 on top of everything to fix it. I was told that if I go with them then they will deduct the $69 from the price quote. I told him that I will consider it and paid the $69. I did my research online; I found how to dissemble and assemble the toilet and how to fix the flange. I bought a snake to clean the line, but it did not do the job. So I called them again and a different tech (Eric) gave me the same price quote as the pervious tech. I told him, if I remove the toilet would he charge me only the price for cleaning the drain and not charge me another $69, which we agreed on. However, the timing of his arrival to perform the work is unknown and I will be missing a day of work. So, I did more research online and found that you can rent power electrical auger for $76 at Home Depot, which I did and clear up my pipe and everything is operating properly. I called first thing in the morning to cancel, but they demand for $69 for Eric’s diagnose, which I told them the issue and gave him the paperwork I got from the other tech in advance and over the phone. I paid the $69 in protest. Therefore, I paid them $138 to do absolutely nothing!!!Thank you for reading my review and I apologizing for being so long, but I want to show you how annoying and unfair this company has been to me and the lesson I learned from this experience. They are the following: Do not use Atomic Plumbing for diagnostic (rid of price) – there are other companies that can perform the diagnostic much cheaper. If you can do it yourself before calling a plumber go ahead and fix it, it will save you a lot of money and headaches.

I typically dont write reviews, but I have to write this one!Our condo association had a huge problem with broken sewer pipes and tree roots. There was raw sewage backing up in many units. Two different plumbing companies were called. What it boiled down to is neither had the equipment needed to even fully diagnose our problem, much less fix it.We talked to another plumber who recommended Atomic, he told us Atomic is who he would use! He said they do good work, they're honest and they have the equipment needed. Scott Perkins, Dalton & Joey worked many hours and days to get the job done. They were always professional and friendly. Many of the neighbors would come outside and ask questions they would always patiently explain.Before the job plan was agreed to, Scott met with all the home owners with questions & answers virtually, he also met in-person with the board. He was always so easy to reach by phone or text. I can't say enough about how accommodating they were. I also have to mention that Kelly and all the office staff were always helpful and friendly. I believe everyone takes pride in their jobs at Atomic, and they should!I wish I could say all my dealings with contractors / businesses went this smoothly, but I can't.Thank you all!

I highly recommend Atomic Plumbing. Recently they replaced a Hot Water Heater for me. There was a discrepancy with costs for this work. I discussed my concerns with Paul Keane, Service Manager/London Bridge Road, Virginia Beach, VA. After our discussion Mr. Keane agreed to charge me the price as I understood it to be rather than the disputed costs. I found him to be a person of great integrity & as a result I would definitely recommend Atomic Plumbing!

I had a pipe leak in my kitchen and Mike was sent. He showed up, saw the issue, made several recommendations and go straight to work. I also asked if he could replace my 12 year old water heater (avoiding it going out soon), he took his time, made sure everything was done perfectly and took the time to test all my faucets etc. ensuring I had hot water and the leak was resolved. I would ask for him again and highly would recommend you ask for Mike.

The intake process took way too long. At the very end if the q0 minute questionnaire, I was td there would be a $125 charge for an estimate for NEW WORK. I was not looking for a diagnosis. I was not looking for a repair. I was looking for new work to be done. Why would I spend $125 for an estimate???? Ridiculous and uncompetitive.

I want to recognize Atomic Plumbing and Drain Cleaning for operating like a well oiled machine and hiring the best people who exhibit the most professional and caring behavior in carrying out their jobs. I had a sewer clog in the main line going from the house to the street which was backing up the entire system in the house. After several days of trying to unclog the system, I finally decided to call Atomic Plumbing based on a neighbor’s suggestion. I put in a request on their website this past Sunday night and told them that my daughter and her family were visiting later in the week for Xmas and that the existing plumbing problem would not tolerate six people in the house for a few days. I got a message that evening to call the Atomic Plumbing emergency number which I did and talked to Kimberly. She was fantastic and explained to me that they would definitely take care of the problem and would have someone out sometime on Monday. I got a call from Atomic soon after they opened for business on Monday and was told that Randy, their technician, would call me about 15-30 minutes before he arrived and that I would receive an email with his picture and a short bio of Randy at that time. That happened within minutes of the call and I soon received the call from Randy. Randy arrived soon and began to get the information I could give him about the problem and find out where the clean outs were. He was a gentleman, professional, assuring and told me he thought he might know where the problem was. He immediately got to work snaking out the system all the way to the street and assured me that the problem was solved when he finished. He gave me the senior discount and was on his way well before lunch. If you read their website carefully, they did with me exactly what they explain they do as part of their normal business routine. I still have not had any problems and highly recommend their services. In today’s environment, dealing with Atomic was like a breath of fresh air.

Clogged toilet issues are the worst! Called Atomic for our toilet clogged issue - downstairs toilet was clogged and whenever we used our showers and toilet upstairs, downstairs toilet overflows (sounds disgusting because it is), called them @6:16PM, got a call back 20 mins later and Brian (I think) the technician came right away after an hour! Problem solved within 3 hours! First time using their service and will highly recommend! 4 stars since I will follow up the next day if ever issue re-appear, but overall really fast and efficient service!

My mom's sewer drain backed up, and my hand-crank snake wasn't doing the job. Called Atomic and they were an absolute joy. Very fast response time after I placed the initial call, tech (Justin) was there in less than an hour, got everything cleared out and moving, hardly any fuss at all. The price felt reasonable and truly, it was such a relief to know everything was working right again. He even fixed up the drain on the side of the house that's been busted for literal decades (the one that almost everyone ends up running over with their lawn mower at some point). Ryan came out originally to inspect our 22 year old gas hot water heater. We weren't having problems with it but felt we were living on borrowed time as it certainly outlived its expected life span. In just a few days Ryan and David installed a new hot water heater and it's working great. Ryan even noticed our gas line in the attic was too close to the roof line and adjusted it making sure exterior nails wouldn't accidentally puncture it. They were extremely polite, professional and timely. Even the person that originally took my call was courteous and updated us on who was coming with a picture and when they would be here. No surprises. Very happy with this transaction.

We had all of the drains on the first floor of our house backed up the day after Thanksgiving. Atomic sent out Sean and Joey who were able to get everything moving again and alerted us to a potential blockage in our main line. They recommended a viewing to determine what was going on which we were able to schedule the upcoming Friday. Thankfully the viewing revealed that our main line was clear which is a huge relief. Sean, Joey, and David were all very personable and professional which made a stressful time a bit easier. Although I hope to not need to, i will definitely be calling atomic in the future for any plumbing needs.

I can't believe this place is considered a 24 hour plumbing service. I had a hot water line burst at 2 am tonight and called atomic. Brittany couldn't have been more rude. I asked to get someone to come out to fix our problem and she said I can get someone to come it between 8-10 tomorrow morning, I mean it is 230 in the morning. You really want me to call the guys after they worked 12 hour shifts today? eventually she agreed to call someone and would return my call when they were on the way. She called 30 minutes later to tell me that none of the guys are answering their phones so we won't be able to come out till tomorrow between 8-10. I'm sorry. Not only did your company fail to do its job as a 24hr business but to top it off, brittany was completely rude. Extremely disappointed in this plumbing company and would never recommend them to anyone.

I had a leaking main supply line under my driveway which was a laborious repair that required cutting my concrete driveway and digging down several feet to access the leak. Called for a clogged shower pipe. Office contacted me three times through the day to assure me I wasn't forgotten, and to keep me updated as to when the technician would arrive. Scott (the technician) was very polite and friendly, very open to questions, explained the steps he would work through to fix the issue, and got to work. He provided estimate before starting, quickly finished (no mess!), and discovered the final cost was less than the initial estimate. To recap: fast, professional, fixed, and cheaper than expected. Scott was very quick to show up and extremely professional. It was a very sudden issue and I needed the weekend to arrange payment. He was so kind and understanding about this and had no problem delaying payment while I talked with my bank. I would love to use their services again if I run into any more problems. Our hot water heater went out and we called Atomic Plumbing in the morning. The lady said she would have someone out by 1:00 PM. We asked that they call about half an hour before coming, and they called me by 8:30 AM saying someone could be over by 9:00. James and Paul were there by 9, told me they could try to fix our hot water heater, but it was so old that it would just be putting money into something that would need to be replaced in the near future anyway. I told them to go ahead and replace it, thinking we would have to schedule another time for them to have to come out and complete the job. But they told me they could have it all done that day, and that is exactly what they did. In fact, they had it done before noon. They were fast, friendly and professional. I could not have been happier with the service we received. They made a very unpleasant occurrence out to be short lived and painless. I would recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing services.

Five stars for customer satisfaction, 1 star for pricing of my particular problem. Read this in its entirety: Two days after having a technician go to my house, the business called and offered me a refund for the $69 service fee. I applaud their customer service, however I do believe their prices are high for snaking a drain. Here's the story: Water was being backed up from the washer drain pvc pipe. I called Atomic and told them it was likely a clog. Their prices are set based on the job, not the time required to perform the job and I was not given a price over the phone for snaking a drain. So, I asked them to go out to the home and knew I would be charged $69 for a service fee. So they called me and wanted $250! to snake the drain. A 25' snake costs $25 from Home Depot and will take about 5 minutes to complete. Absolutely ridiculous. I should've done it myself in the first place, but never thought they would charge that much. If you have something that you can fix yourself, do it and don't waste your money. However, if you're in need of a company that does care about its customers and for projects that you may not be able to do, give Atomic a call.

Unfortunately had a pipe leak under my house. Called Atomic plumbing, not only did they come quickly, but Brian was professional, personable and fixed my problem, turns out there were two leaks. Then surprised me with a very reasonable bill, I had to ask twice about price. Highly recommend Atomic Plumbing. Out of 5 stars they get all 5.

We called for a plummer to unclog a toilet the man that came was very rude and said he had done the job in less than 5 mins. When we went to use the bathroom the problem was not fixed then we called the office we were told that we would have to pay for the job all over again. $250. Extremely fast response and fix after having an unforeseen flood in the kitchen (1 hour arrival post broken pipe). Our technician, James, was professional and gave us all our options for the fix. He checked all our water sources (showers, toilets, faucets) to ensure that we didn't have a hidden leak anywhere in addition to the broke pipe. Hopefully we don't need Atomic Plumbing again for emergency service but if it should happen, we will 100% call them.

Way too expensive!

I had no running water which was a big problem. Alan and his partner Michael came out, identified the problem, and fixed it in a timely manner. They had to cut into the wall and my vanity to solve the problem. For the price I paid I was hoping they would reattached my vanity counter top to the wall, but I understand they might not have had the means. I felt $2200 was a little high, but I am no expert in plumbing that’s for sure.

Our water heater had broken down. They were able to replace it the same day. Very friendly service too!

Justin and his apprentice, Mike, did a super job fixing a 60 year old pipe to our washing machine that was leaking and upgraded it to modern day connections. They were very courteous and informative. We would not hesitate to ask for them again for our plumbing needs.

I sent an email through Atomic's website on a Sunday requesting a service call and cost estimate on replacement of our 28 year old water heater which gave up Saturday night. 15 minutes later received an email from Kim immediately followed up by a phone call for details on the water heater, location etc. The next day Alan and Bradley came out early, evaluated the work, provided several fair estimates based on warranty options and installed a new water heater. VERY professional and engaging when I asked technical questions while they were working, neat work and cleaned up thoroughly. On top of that, Atomic Plumbing provides a military discount. Service in it's entirety could not be anymore responsive, fair and professional.

Quickly defined the problem and what the cost would be.Went to get parts, accomplished his work in a professional manner, tested results to ensure success, demonstrated to me, cleaned up after himself and helped me put things back where they belonged. All-in-all, a good job at a fair price. I'd use Atomic and Ryan again.

After a failed DIY project left us with no water on a late Saturday night, Atomic was my first call Sunday morning. They were there within two hours to assess and quote the repair and had completed the job within 3 hours. They do not charge by the hour nor additional fees for afterhours work. They charge by the job which is reassuring for an emergency repair as some companies will stretch the repair time to increase their payment. I would certainly use them again and will continue to recommend them.

We called Atomic as our landlords were taking a bit to have a quote sent to us for our slow kitchen drain. Atomic quoted someone to come out between 12-5 the dame day we called. We got a call back letting us know a tech was on their way and Sean D. showed up. Sean was super nice and friendly upon arrival and the entire time he worked on our sink. He asked what happened so far and was not frustrated that I wasn't able to provide him with details as my significant other hadn't filled me in on what had happened with the sink. So, Sean took time to see what was going on so he could work on it.While Sean was here, I learned a lot about all the ways that people come and fix things. I appreciated being told what the possibilities were for how things could get fixed if there was a worst case scenario and how he would handle it. All in all, Sean's customer service skills are top notch and if we have another issue, I hope everyone at Atomic is the same if we don't get him again. He let us know that the drain issue is common because of the exit plug on the outside of the house and that was good knowledge to have in general.Out service with Sean was quick, informative, but he definitely paid attention to detail and now our kitchen sink drain is working as it should. Robin is excellent in all categories. He explains actions ahead of time so we know what is going on. He was very thorough in accomplishing his tasks. His friendly nature put us at ease to ask questions about how the system works and he is happy to explain. We will need to have two cleanouts installed. I called Atomic Plumbing today after a really disappointing experience with another well known plumbing company earlier. As a first time customer with Atomic, I was really impressed. Sean and Paul arrived in less than an hour. Their friendly and professional attitude was a drastic change from the other plumber. I was charged a flat service call fee which was way cheaper than what the other guy wanted to charge (an unreasonable $179) for trying the pilot light before any diagnostic. Today we woke up on Day 1 of a 3 day Holiday weekend to our main sewer line backed up. All the toilets and sinks were backing up; we were unable to use the water at all. Panic ensued... Sean D from Atomic Plumbing was AWESOME today! Professional, personal and an expert at his craft! Called Atomic Plumbing at 7pm last night and they were able to schedule this afternoon to repair a leaky hot water heater supply valve. Sean had the challenge of a cramped space, but had all the tools necessary. His craftsmanship on a replacement valve and fittings was excellent and is warrantied for a year. He tidied everything up afterwards and was a pleasure to talk to throughout, I learned a lot! The pricing is way too high. $350 to install a faucet. $325 to install a garbage disposal. They wanted to charge $1200 For what the technician said was 4 hours worth of work. $300 a hour. I don't think so.

Randy was very kind and knew exactly was to do with the problem we where having. He fixed the problem and also gave us a solution so we did not have to keep calling a plumber. We had another company out before and they only solved half the problem. We will definitely be using atomic plumbing from now on!

I called Atomic Plumbing based on their online reviews. I was a little disturbed that they wouldn't give me a basic estimate for services. They kept telling me that a technician had to come to my residence. Once he arrived, he said he had to rebuild two toilets. I also had a problem with my disposal. I was charged $250 for each toilet, and another $250 just to remove something that had fallen into the disposal. For a total of over $750, I could've had new toilets. Atomic Plumbing charged WAY too much for the repairs that they did. I will NEVER call them again, and I will warn all others to stay away. Much too expensive, and they take advantage of people by never giving out any estimates for their services. Yes, it was an expensive lesson to learn, but I won't ever go back!! Atomic Plumbing should be ashamed to charge so much.

James and his apprentice Justin were great! They did a great job assessing the problem and fixing it quickly. They let me know when they would be there and how much it would be before they started the job. Our master-bath tub was clogged. The quote was fair, and they got the job done quickly. My hot water heater ruptured at 2030 on a Tuesday and Justin along with Trey were at my house at 0830 the next morning. They were consummate professionals the entire time they were in my garage. They were courteous and polite and worked as hard as they could on a difficult removal and replacement. I can't thank them and Atomic Pluming enough. I have to add, cleanliness in our household is of the utmost importance and Robert is meticulous with his work and pretty much left no trace of his presence when he was done. I had a water heater disaster on a 3 year old system. Water everywhere. They were in my home in south chesapeake (with booties on). Removed the old, got me credit on the warrant (i did not have my old receipt even) and fixed it within a few hours. I also had my toilets redone due to problems. The only guys I will call or allow in my home. By the way, they wear little booties and did not get one bit of rust or other on the white carpets.

I had a lot of foundation work done on my 100+ year old home. I had to get plumbing moved on short notice. Then, the movement of the home created a leak in my radiator heating system. Atomic Plumbing sent Chris out both times. Boy am I glad they did. He sure knew what he was doing. He and Will knocked out the changes and repairs in a timely and professional manner. After the project was done, I had an issue with water pressure. Again Chris came out. He diagnosed and fixed the problem at no charge. I’m very happy with Chris and Atomic Plumbing, and would happily recommend them for your job.

Very fast and helpful. I called about an estimate for a new water heater at 10:30 in the morning and they had a technician (Ryan D) at my house by 11:30. Pricing was fair and by 2:00 pm that same day my new water heater was installed!

These guys are a joke! They charged me nearly a THOUSAND DOLLARS to install a bathtub faucet! ! ! Home depot would have done it for $150! I won't be using them in the future and I suggest you don't either!

When it hits the fan, these people are here for you. I had roots crush sewage pipes under the foundation of the house I had bought less than a month before. They came in, ripped up the foundation replaced the pipe and layed new concrete in less than a week. If I need a plumber again (hopefully I won't) I'll call Atomic.

Our tech Scott P. and his team were so compassionate and hard working, they came back every day since Friday to check and triple check the repairs they made before the city came out for their inspection and then went as far as to pause another job to come hook everything back up after the inspection passed so that I could have time to get the gas company out before tempatures dropped again last night. They were able to accommodate me very quickly and sent Ryan out to troubleshoot the problem. He was knowledgeable, he was fast, he was friendly, and after learning I was selling my house, he went above and beyond. He knows how to coax older plumbing fixtures into operating order (just call him the pipe whisperer), he knows the building code inside and out (he pointed out several issues a home inspector might incorrectly flag and armed me with documentation with which to counter) and he repaired several small problems I was unaware of - a big help when you want your home to be welcoming to new owners.The company is great to work with and Ryan is a Master Plumber who really embodies the title. They should really consider cloning him.

I called about a clogged drain in my Laundry room. Their response time was great. My tech. was Eric T. He was awesome. He got right to the heart of the problem and had it solved in no time. Atomic Plumbing were very professional and on time to arrive at your door ready to go. I've used this company twice in the same week and was not displeased by their service. I recommend them for any pipe or plumbing issues and the prices are not bad because it's worth the service you get from this company.

We used Atomic Plumbing to fix and broken faucet in our shower. I called on a Sunday and the office was very honest in telling me it would be half price for an estimate if I waited until Monday morning. I scheduled an appointment for Monday morning and received an email that Ryan would show up between 8-10am. My wife received a call at 9am saying he was 45 min away. He showed up at 930am and examined the issue and gave her the estimate. Once the price was agreed on he had to run and get some parts, but returned and had the entire faucet replaced by 1130am. Very courteous and professional and had the job completed as promised. This company is rated very good on Angies List and I would not hesitate on using them again in the future. Justin Ricker and Mike CaseyReplaced my shower fixtures, which required cutting the drywall and pipes. They repaired two kitchen pipes and ran a water line from one wall to another wall for my new refrigerator location.They were punctual, professional, kind and did an awesome job!

I don’t doubt the expertise of this business, and would agree with professionalism and punctuality. However, when I called to schedule the appointment I already knew my issue. I had a bad cartridge in my shower, causing water not to come out of the faucet and shower head. I explained this when making the appointment. Technicians came out and confirmed the issue, I was prepared to have them repair it until they provided the quote of $568!!!! I said the part costs $40 and it’s takes 10-15 minutes to replace! I was beyond shocked and disappointed. The price included a $100 trip fee because they didn’t have the cartridge (yet they advertise “fully stocked trucks”). But even at $468, the price was still ridiculous considering the type of repair. If plumbers make $2000 an hour, I need to switch profession. They made $69 for basically confirming what I had already told them...I guess they are still winning.UPDATE 01/17/2020 - the owner responded to my original post, asking me to contact the office to discuss my experience. I contacted them this morning and spoke to Paul. I shared my thoughts on the pricing based on the nature of the repair and he appreciated the input and said they would review their rate sheets. He also offered to refund the $69 service fee, which was much appreciated! The responsiveness and open-minded attitude towards hearing me out really demonstrated their commitment to being respectful business owners, and shows pride in business ownership. Jim was a great technician. Fixed everything we needed help with. Even though it took him 2 days, he was very kind about it.

Unfortunately, they advertise emergency services/repairs, however, this is not true. We called on 3/19/23 due to our gas hot water heater blowing out on the bottom - water everywhere. Our water to the main heater was not shutting off, so we had to cut the water to our entire home. We also needed help to make sure the gas was cut off correctly. They called us back promptly and were courteous, but their emergency services were not able to come out until sometime the next day. To me, this is not 24/7 service as advertised. We needed someone to come out and help up secure the area until temporarily on 3/19 until they could come out and replace the unit at another time. It is unfortunate, because I have heard a lot of good things about this company.

Atomic plumbing and drain cleaning is a very reliable and customer friendly company. I needed my garbage disposal replaced and they sent their technician of 26 years out to help. Randy was very knowledgeable and friendly!! He did a great job and left a lasting impression on my roommate's and I to definitely use this company ( and Randy upon request ) for our future plumbing needs! Robin replaced two very old valves supplying water to my clothes washing machine. One was leaking slightly at the stem. The second was just smart to do while he was here. Old house.Service was prompt, courteous, and done well. Area was cleaned up after job. I feel the cost was a bit high but also value quality workmanship done right the first time. My 90 year old mother had several plumbing issues....Ryan took care of all of the problems we called for and more. She was extremely satisfied with all the work and the time he took to explain things....he even got approval from my 125 lb service dog Ranger! I have used atomic a couple of times and have received nothing but great service! When we first bought our house, we hadn't moved to the area yet and weren't moving for another month. We drove down for a weekend to get the A.C. replaced, and found the sink in the master bath (that the previous owner just had installed) had flooded the whole bedroom. I believe it was Eric who helped us, and he was wonderful. Despite it being July, and no A.C, he took care of us without complaint. And because we were going back home in the next couple days he made sure to get it done quickly!Recently we decided to replace our water heater and didn't hesitate to call Atomic. Ryan and Zach helped us this time and provided the same level of service I expected! They were polite, clean and made sure everything went smoothly.Atomic is definitely a little pricer than some smaller companies, but you get what you pay for and I'd rather pay to get it done correctly the first time than later when your water line snaps in the master bathroom and you're out of town.

So thankful I made the call. The front office associate was very pleasant and shared the practice of what to expect on my service day. Technician Randy arrived within my service window, immediately introduced himself and presented me with his business card. I was also introduced to his assistant Tim who was also very polite. They also had shoe covers they placed on before entering my rooms (how thoughtful). The service was reviewed and cost to complete the job, authorization given and Randy started the task. I called Atomic at 9pm on a Wednesday evening after I had another company complete a repair and then abandon me when they couldn't get it correct. They called me back that night and scheduled an appointment for first thing the next morning. They called by 8:30 to say they would be there in a 1/2 hour. They showed up 30 minutes later, spoke to my wife about the situation and told her that they absolutely could fix the problem even though the other company said it couldn't be done (for under $4k). They gave me a very reasonable price of $525 and we agreed to let them do the job. They went right to work and had the job completed and cleaned up quickly. They were complete by 11am. This is the second time that we have used their services and we will not be using anyone else in the future. They are professional, courteous, compassionate, well educated and I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing service in the Hampton Roads area. Thank you Atomic Plumbing!

Ryan D. and Javier were here within the time originally specified. They came in and immediately put on their shoe coverings, which I always appreciate. Ryan kept me informed about the process he was using to check my water heater and then what he found the problem to be. He gave me several remedy options in writing with prices and then worked quickly to fix the heater. Throughout the entire time they were here, Ryan was the consummate professional, working quickly and quietly. When he was ready to leave he told me about the senior discount which I'd never heard about before and was happy to take advantage of. Scott M and Justin spent the better part of 2 days removing an old undersized wash machine drain line and installing a new one from the garage, through the concrete wall to the crawl space and running it to the main drain pipe. An automatic vent was installed near the washing machine. All work was performed in a professional manner and the area was cleaner after they left than when they arrived. This was a job well done!

Randy was on time and very friendly. He came in and surveyed the problem. We discussed two possible solutions (replacing the kitchen faucet with a unit I had purchased a while ago or having him replace the faucet with one of the new Delta faucets where the spray handle retracts into the faucet.) I decided on the second option. He let me know he didn't have one on the truck and would have to get one. He told me how long it would take to get one. I still had the option to switch back to my existing set, but the amount of time was reasonable, and the added cost to upgrade to the nicer faucet was fairly close to how much I had researched to be the cost of that faucet. Randy was finished in a very reasonable amount of time. He brought rugs to put down so that he wouldn't get my floor dirty. He cleaned up after himself, and was very professional. I would be pleased to have him come back and do plumbing in my house again, should it be necessary. I have a 5 year warranty on my new faucet.

Ryan and Zach came quickly to my residence when the office scheduled them to come a day early to my pleasant surprise. They sharply dressed and very professional. They quickly diagnosed the kitchen faucet problem, brought the right tools to affect repairs and fixed the leak, I was impressed by their professionalism and teamwork. If I ever have another plumbing problem, Ryan and Zach performance convinced my to call Atomic next time.

We had a Saturday evening before Easter emergency when our water heater began leaking. We got the water turned off and contacted Atomic Plumbing. Their friendly appointment person told us they would have someone here the next morning, Easter! Jim came at 11 am and told us it would be best to replace it. We told him to go ahead. They went out and got a high quality one as we requested and installed it in a few hours. Very professional and kept us informed along the way. We appreciate Atomic Plumbing.

I gave Atomic Plumbing & Drain Cleaning 1 Star for simply showing up. The rest is all downhill. Robert Rollings was beyond arrogant when he said my price for moving a 4-5 pipe for the construction of a future closet, I asked how much the materials cost & he said he had to charge me well over $500.00+ to pay for their office staff, truck payments, gasoline, etc. I never got a cost for the materials. He said the job would take 2-3 hours & he was back in my office in less than 1 hour looking for money. I asked for a receipt & he said I could get one in my e-mail! I am an elderly, disabled senior citizen where it is not unusual that some of us do not have e-mail addresses or a computer simply because they can't afford the luxury of one-food & utilities are more important. Thumbs down to Atomic. Shame on you! No wonder your trucks look like rolling Museums of Color Artwork! All you need to have is a sign that says Honest, Fair Plumbing Service ! Never again!!

Neighbor with dementia cut copper supply to leaking hose bib so had to cut water off,he called atomic before I could assess ,atomic wanted almost $500 dollars and charged me $69 for estimate,called another company and explained situation they came out and capped line to get water on for $60 &came back next day and replaced hose bib for additional $60,they rcvd 5 star,Atomic only rcvd. 1 star because you can't leave review with negative stars,call elsewhere !

Trey was very professional and experienced. He automatically put plastic covering on his shoes before entering the house. He worked consistently and ensured everything was working properly. He put everything back in place and cleaned the area where he work. Great service, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.

We had multiple leaks (started with one but my turning on and off of water shutoffs added three more). Jim arrived, we discussed the problems. I agreed to the repairs (satisfied with the price). Trey and Mike are a great team…they worked well together replacing a sewer line that roots pushed apart ! They got miss utility to mark all utilities and job went smooth. They replaced about 25 feet of sewer line and the clean out by the street ! The backhoe operator was great. Dug that trench carefully without disturbing gas, water or utilities ! The entire crew worked well together and my job was completed in about 4 1/2 hours. They even leveled the dirt in the flowerbed and put the pine straw back ! And even though the backhoe left some tracks in the yard it’s mich better than I expected ! I would recommend this crew any day ….knew their stuff !

My water heater began leaking on a Saturday morning. I called Atomic and Ryan was there to fix it by early afternoon. He was professional, personable and a skilled plumber. I was impressed by the response time and the friendly manner of the staff. The customer service from the call taker Kim was outstanding too. This family owned company will be the first ones I call if I need plumbing assistance in the future.

After the work was completed they showed us the finished product and provided helpful information about our new disposal. Poor customer service, terrible experiences. Plumber came to my house twice with very little expertise and willingness to assist with my very basic bathroom renovation project.

Discovered I had a leak behind my wall. Called Atomic Plumbing. They had a plumber out in less than an hour. Found and fixed the leak quickly. Very happy with the service they provided.

Good News and Bad News: The good news... They arrived within 1-hour of my call. I needed a shower control valve replaced.The bad news... The plumber quoted me a price of more than $1,100. When I asked him why so much (as I would cut and then replace the drywall), he told me that they use good parts, not the builder's grade junk that I had (I had a Delta faucet; junk that had worked fine for more than 16-years). He cut the old valve and capped the two lines for me. Charged me over $300 for about 1-hour's worth of work and $1.00 of parts.I later bought the new valve, rented the crimping tool from Home Depot, both for a little more $230. Installation, drywall repair and the two trips to Home Depot (had to return the rented tool) took about 3-hours. Including my time worth about $100/hr, I saved about $600 when compared to their quote.

Jim M and Eric Jr from Atomic Plumbing came to my house on Thursday, May 5, 2016 to unclog my toilet. While thy were here I had them install new faucets in both bathrooms.The did it in a timely manner, were polite, knowledgeable and left every thing very neat and clean. The charge was reasonable. Ryan D. explained to me what alternatives I had in order to repair a piping issue with my kitchen sink. He informed me of the pros and cons of each solution and when asked, told me his preference. Had a major problem with a broken and leaky pipe in my bathroom this morning and called atomic. The woman that helped me over the phone through the process was a woman named Kimberly and she was very friendly, polite, amd helpful. As far as the company they were very fast with a same day response and very accurate on theit appointment time. When Mr jimmy arrived he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the situation and eased my mind about it. He did a very thorough job. Justin did a great job clearing our clogged drain. He was very professional and was done quickly.

It pains me to write this, because there are so many positive reviews. A month ago, we had some leaking issues above our ceiling under a lean-to roof. We thought it was freezing pipes because our water meter didn't indicate any leaks. The plumber arrived and I turned on the water and took him upstairs to listen some leakage behind one of my sinks. He said he couldn't hear anything. When we went back down stairs he heard some dripping in the ceiling just outside my kitchen where an HVAC chase was. He found the leak in that location and replaced a run of pipe and left assuming that was the entire problem. I then turned my water back on to wash some dishes and started experiencing leaks again. I turned the water back off, pulled some wetted drywall down from my kitchen ceiling and traced the leak from where the plumber said he couldn't hear leakage earlier. So, I called Atomic and they sent him back out. He replaced the pipe where I pointed out, but it seems to me he should have investigated more thoroughly to start with when he was at my house earlier. Furthermore, one place where he crimped the new pipe didn't look like a very good job and I pointed it out to him. He did re-fix the pipe. At this point, it was 6pm. I turned the water back on once again and there were STILL leaks. The plumber was still in his van and I called him back in AGAIN. Instead of investigating, he said something to the effect of, 'well, pull your drywall down and call me Monday.' I ended up using another plumbing company to finish the job. In my opinion, he should have investigated to find out where all the leaks were to start with and not just do what I told him.

Had a leak coming from the downstairs bathroom toilet and they tried to charge 865 to snake, remove the toilet and put it back. They also charge $95 just for coming out. Great way to make a quick $95 but pricing yourself out of jobs you don’t want! Had someone come out the next day…. they did the same work for $200! At least their receptionist was friendly.

Paid 125 bucks for 15 minutes for the guy to come in my house and tell me it would cost me 3000 bucks to fix my leak and he couldn't do it at that time and he needed to remove my hot water heater. Knew I needed a 2nd opinion. I got that 2nd opinion and it costs me 195 bucks didn't have to remove my hot water heater and to fix that 3000 dollar leak.... What a freaking rip off these guys are! Get that 2nd opinion, ur bank will thank me!

This is my first time using Atomic Plumbing and boy am I happy! They were able to come out right away for my leak behind the refrigerator. Late afternoon on March 9th, I thought that I heard water dripping in the area of our bathrooms. Upon checking the city meter, my suspicions were confirmed. I asked a friend of mine who is a retired contractor who he would call? He said that since since he retired he had suggested Atomic to several of his former customers. We called Atomic and they scheduled us for the next day.(Wednesday) . Wednesday morning, there was an email from Atomic telling me when I could expect a plumber. During the morning, I received two phone calls giving me a report on when the plumbers would arrive at my home.The plumbers, Shawn Dyer & technician Trey were very friendly and professional. Trey went in the crawlspace and found a leak coming from a wall behind a vanity. Shawn give me a price ,which I thought was reasonable, and then completed the work. After finishing the job, Shawn told me how to contact Chesapeake Public Utilities to file a request for a leaking pipe bill reduction.' Both Shawn and Trey were very personable and did a super job. At 4:00 am I heard running water . I jump out of bed to find water coming from my hot water heater in my attic. Needless to do I was panicking. I YouTube how to turn off the water supply I climbed up and shut that off then hooked a hose to the heater and did my best to drain it. I couldn't find the correct breaker to shut the power to it. Stressing out to the max I googled emergency plumbing. The first I called. Keep in mind it's now a little after 5:00 am. The first I called was a answering service said tomorrow. The next I called was Atomic plumbing. The answering service said the Deanna normally calls with in 15 min. ( I was thinking yeah right). Sure enough in 15 minutes she called. She could hear I was stressed and panicking. She was very reassuring and said it's a emergency and would move me to the front of the line. And I would get a call around 8:00. ( I was feeling a little better just talking with her but had my doubts about a timely call back. ). Sure enough I got a call at 7:50 am and said they could be there in 20 minutes. Sure enough Trey and Michael show up in less than that. Man these two were on it. They could tell I was stressing and the both immediately reassured me they had this and gave me a confidence I have never experienced with a plumbing company before. Michael showed me the breaker and even labeled it for me. Then Trey and he got to work. Trey came down and gave me the estimate and explained my options. I picked one and they got to work. I came home for lunch at1:00 and they were sweeping my floors. From Deanna to Trey and Michael I was handled and treated with genuine friendliness , empathy and professionalism . I will and already have recommended Atomic plumbing to anyone who is needing your offed service's. Im stoked!!! Money well spent. 5 stars!!!

I would have to say the experience I had with Atomic and their technician Robert was amazing. He got to my house around 9:30 and didn't leave until 2:30. We needed a water heater replaced with a pan put under it and a drain to the outside installed. He worked diligently. He never left to go and get supplies the supplies were brought to him which I think is awesome. Very nice and respectful guy. I am really glad that I called Atomic! Pricing was very reasonable as well.

I had a very positive with Atomic Plumbing. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them. I had another company replace a water heater for me about 2 years ago and when I started to have problems with the water that was coming out of the hot water tank I called them and explained my problem and asked them to come out and fix the problem since they were the ones that put in the tank. The owner called me and asked what the problem was and said he was going to have to research the problem and get back to me.....Never did. I did my homework to check out Atomic Plumbing, called them, they came out and told me there was a couple fixes to the problem... The decision was mine to make...not theirs. Thecame back when they promised, did the work they promised and guaranteed the work that they did. It is very hard these days to find someone who stands by their work. I was pleased with Jimmy and his assistant. They cleaned up after themselves and explained everything before they left. Very happy with them.

The last thing you want to see is your toilet backing up in the shower late at night. I went online to set up an appointment and got an immediate response. The whole process was great from the time I made the appointment to the 30 min alert for arrival. Justin was fantastic, really friendly, informative and professional. He explained everything before, during and after and got a really messy job done. I wasn't expecting to have my yard dug up and I was amazed that it didn't look like a mess when he was done. My home warranty fell through in getting my issue repaired in a timely manner before Hurricane Dorian may or may not make an impact in Norfolk so I said screw it and called Atomic. Someone answered the phone the first time I called, I made an appointment for the next day with multiple time slots to choose from. A few hours later someone else called to confirm everything and get a bit more details. The next day Ryan D. showed up on time and had everything he needed to do the job in his truck. He was polite and friendly, explained everything clearly, and was done in less than an hour. Of course this was quite a bit more expensive than what I would have paid through my warranty but other than that I am 100% satisfied and happy. I would highly recommend Atomic Plumbing!

I went with Atomic because of a Yelp review lauding them for their quick responsiveness. Ryan came within a couple of hours, assessed the work, and returned the next morning with Michael. Both got to work immediately, and finished the two issues separately—replacing the outside water main valve and replacing washing machine faucets with an upgraded system. Both gentlemen had good personalities, knew what they were doing, and told me everything they did. Atomic headquarters kept me informed of when they’d arrive and there were no surprises.

Ryan @ Zach were very knowledgeable of the product and performed with efficency and left the place in great shape. I had 3 other quotes that were less expensive but after meeting Ryan I knew Atomic would do what he said they would do and They do.

Alan and Will were professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly.
Trey also came out and installed a new sewer clean out. He was very hard working and did a great job.

The plumber that came to our home on the service call for a clogged toilet refused to look for the clogged drain pipe and wanted to charge over $1,100 to look for iit.We paid the service call and ask the gentleman to leave our house. We then called another plumbing company A1 the technician found the clock cleaned out the pipe and left everything nice and neat in 20 minutes all together and their prices were very economical and very comfortable to pay for their services at A-1 Plumbing.We do not recommend Atomic Plumbing to anyone1 in Virginia Beach, technician was lazy and a rip off.

Jay S, what a great guy!! He was friendly and very professional. He diagnosed my problem and explained what was happening with my drain. The drain on a bar sink was not run correctly, but the real problem was a clogged drain. He unclogged the drain and made sure the problem was fixed. He was very patient and explained everything he was doing. He even gave me an estimate for re-doing the drain, but told me it wasn't an emergency, so I could plan to do that when I was ready.Thanks for a job well done.

I was given an estimate to replace two standard bathroom faucets (That I supplied!), replace a leaking exterior preassure release valve for a water heater, and repair a leaking sink drain. This would account for approximately 4 hours of work and less then $50 in parts. Grand total for the service - $831.33, but that included a 10% military discount - Thanks. The prices they charge for thier services is exorbitant so needless to say I declined thier services. I was still charged $69 for them to come to my home to give me an outrageously high, worthless estimate. Save yourself the $69 and find a service provider that can give you a rough estimate over the phone or a free in home estimate.UPDATE: I have modified my previous rating subsequently due to receiving correspondance from the owner as a reply to my dissatisfaction. In addition, he refunded my $69 service fee. Though I was not pleased with the prices for the services requested, I am impressed with the owner's direct involvment with customer satisfaction. I do not feel that I should completely remove this post; however, I did feel it necessary to update this post and notify the public that Atomic Plumbing did attempt to make it right by me.

We called at 8pm when a backup caused sewage water to leak through our kitchen ceiling. Jim M came in about an hour to assess the problem and give us an estimate. He came back promptly the next morning with the necessary equipment and was able to fix the problem and recommend someone to help with the water damage. He was courteous and helpful. This is our second time using Atomic and we would recommend their services.

We had a great experience with Atomic! We had a clogged drain that was unfortunately was not able to be cleared the first day they tried despite a valient effort by the specialist Jimmy. The job needed more in-depth work that was not able to be completed that day. Despite this not being Atomic's fault, they agreed to put half of what I paid for the unsuccessful repair towards their next attempt (thank you to Paul, one of the Managers). This was much appreciated! Another appointment was scheduled, and Robert came out. He was able to fix it this time and made sure to honor the previous agreement. Our experience dealing with Atomic both in person and on the phone was great as well. All of the employees we dealt with were kind and communicated with us openly and fairly about the scope of the job, prices, and scheduling. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to go back to them in the future or recomend them to anyone. The military discount was much appreicated as well. Thank you all for your help!

Had an appointment this morning for installing a kitchen faucet, garbage disposal and rerouting the pipes for my new sink in the kitchen. The technician did arrive on time and upon arrival seemed like a professional. But that quickly changed when I showed him the work and he was very quick to say not sure what I can do here, I don’t think I can help you and if I do figure it out you might not like the price. After looking and assessing underneath the sink for about 30 minutes he is still not confident on what to do. So he then leaves to give me an estimate and comes back with a quote for over $1,000 for 3 simple things. I said no thank you because he did not know what he was talking about. But of course I had to pay the $69 service call fee. I then called around many companies due to not having a functioning kitchen still and then I was able to find another company who came out on short notice. When this plumber arrived his first answer to me was this is a basic kitchen install and after 30 minutes my kitchen was up and running for a third of the price Atomic was charging. Atomic needs to find reliable plumbers before they get dispatched out to residences.

Only giving 3 stars due to what I think is an excessive price for the job with no warranty given. Used other plumbing companies in the past who have given a 90 day warranty for similar jobs and at a cheaper price. Charged $350 to snake out a branch line of sewer drain. Total job from time truck got here to time truck left was approximately 35 mins.

Called Atomic for my business on a Saturday morning, and had Mike W and Mike (no relation🤣) at my door within 45 minutes. They were clean, professional, efficient, and affable. Humble and hard working guys. Our main septic drain was clogged and they jumped right in and got it cleared. Mike W. also mentioned other minor issues, offered remedies, and an estimate should we need assistance. We all want to do business with people we like, these guys made it super easy and we know who to call next time we have an issue. Great job Atomic. 👍🏻

A handyman walked away from the job after cutting off the water to my mother's house and removing a toilet. He did this while I was attending a funeral. My mother is 87 years old. Called Atomic Plumbing and Ryan Dean responded Saturday afternoon and restored water to the house. He finished the job Sunday morning. He was the nicest, courteous, neat plumber I have ever met. I can't say enough good things about Atomic Plumbing from the employee who took my call to Ryan Dean's excellent service.

We replaced our 50 gallon hot water heater in the attic with a new tank less water heater and relocated it to the garage. This was not an ordinary water heater replacement because it required running new water lines from the attic to the garage and also running a new gas line to the tank less unit, Once it was determined where the lines could be run, Brad and his helpers, Aron and Brian, got right to work. The process took 2 visits due to having the new gas line inspected by the city before connecting it to the new unit.I would like to personally thank Brad, he was an absolute professional. All of the new pipes and lines were installed in a professional manner, the whole job looks professional, and everything was cleaned up before they left. I feel confident the job was done right.This is the second time we have used Atomic, I would recommend Atomic Plumbing & Drain Cleaning.

Jim Miller and John installed our new kitchen faucet. Jim had come out previously to see why old faucet was leaking and suggested a new one since faucet was 15 years old. Jim and John were very professional and friendly. You could tell they took pride in what they do and made sure it was done right and working properly. I am so thankful for Sean D at Atomic Plumbing! He is an excellent plumber! I normally don't write reviews, but this was definitely worth sharing. My husband and I closed on our home and moved in on March 4th. We had not been living here not even a full month when our toilet started making a funny gurgling sound. Immediately, I was concerned, you know being a first-time homebuyer and all. So my husband contacted our home warranty carrier to see if plumbing was a covered service under the policy. It was and so we contacted Budget Plumbing to make a service call. What a mistake that was! First, he was here a total of about 10-15 minutes and charged us $95 to tell us that we had no clean out and estimated the cost at $2000.00 to $2500.00 to make a new clean out. He told us that we would be contacted by our home warranty witihin 24 hrs. Secondly, he seemed annoyed to be at our house, almost as if it were an inconvenience to him. Lastly, he was rude and unpleasant. Right after he left, my husband received a call from a rep stating that our claim was denied and we were stuck with no resolution. After about a week of non-working toilets and having to shower in a slow draining bathtub, we couldn't take it anymore. We asked around to see if anyone knew of any good plumbers. Atomic Plumbing came highly recommended by my husband's co-worker. Needless to say, we called to schedule a service call and not only were they able to see us the SAME DAY but the cost was way more affordable and the customer service was oustanding! Sean D was professional, personable and polite. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions clearly and in a way that I was able to understand. He also found the clean out that the first plumber failed to find. He was effective and efficient. Most importantly, our toilets and drains are working perfectly! We just got a tankless water heater installed. Sean did an excellent job all the way around. He laid out the job for us when he came and took a look at it and upon his return for the work it went exactly has he had stated. Could not be happier with the whole process. Atomic made it very easy to do and we don't have to worry about running out of hot water anymore. The only bad thing I can say is they scheduled the city inspection without either my wife or I knowing but it all worked out. Overall great job.

I had lived in my new house less than a week when I discovered a leak at my outside faucet.I asked my daughter and my real estate agent who to call and they both said Atomic !!!Jim Miller came out very quickly and knew in a few minutes that the leak was actually under my kitchen cabinets. While I was upset with the Initial service they handled my complaint very professionally and quickly. That is very appreciated***They came to see why my shower was not diverting water to my shower head. He barley looked at it and just put a new 10 cent washer in it. Few weeks later I had the problem again. Was able to move the washer back in place and it worked for a while longer. Now a few months later is even worse and readjusting the washer is not helping. I really feel like this was a band aid. $200 dollars for them to come out, just for them to not get to the root of the problem.

Called Atomic Plumbing and was able to get an appointment the next day. Communication from beginning to end was awesome. They kept me informed during the whole process. The problem was fixed with an explanation of what the issue was. I will definitely use Atomic Plumbing again if needed. Great customer service!

I called Atomic due to a burst pipe. Was able to fix the burst pipe, but discovered a leaking toilet underneath the crawl space. The rep who came out was very unprofessional and scolded me for not letting them know it was no longer an emergency, even though I had already let dispatch know earlier when they called to confirm. Let them know a family member helped with the emergency, but that I had a leaking toilet. His response was if they were so handy fixing the pipe, have them fix the toilet. After jiggling the toilet with his knee for 5 seconds, they then brought me a quote to fix the toilet starting out at $370 with potentially being as expensive as $1,387 if more work was needed. For less than $10 from supply house, a youtube video, and 35 minutes of work, was able to fix the leak with a new wax seal. Paid $95 for them just to come out and be rude and condescending and then try to completely overcharge. It takes really poor customer service for me to write a negative review, but safe to say will not be using them again and will warn others. Do your research, don't get ripped off, and use another company with more integrity and professionalism!

Called on a Sunday for a bad plumbing backup. I was amazed at how professional the person who answered the phone was as well as the technician, Justin. Justin D. worked several hours to fix our problem. I will definitely be using them from now own.

Our water heater busted on Saturday. Sean came right out and was very informative and helpful. He explained that they would need to secure our type of water heater and once successful he would be out first thing Sunday morning to install it. He was here first thing at 7:30 AM with a smile on his face and removed the old water heater and installed the new one in no time. Sean is very knowledgeable and personable. We had Atomic Plumbing come out twice in the past two weeks. The first time, Scott M. came and fixed our water heater. Atomic Plumbing received my call re urgency at 7:30AM and by 8:45 9:00AM, the super men of Plumbing-- Bryan and Darin--arrived with 2 trucks, and a new water heater! They jumped in to stop the immediate crisis, and proceeded with meticulous care to stop water damage, break down wall where needed, and removed water heater and replaced it. They wear paper booties, are careful with moving things, and the clean up exceeded expectations. At their recommendation, used Water Damage Solutions who shifted their schedule and came to assess, and perform mold prevention as quickly as possible. I thank Bryan and Darin for an excellent recommendation to a company that was at our house by mid-morning. Atomic has my admiration and gratitude.

What a great person to lead his crew to put in an attic water heater in 95 degrees temp. and the heat index above 100 degrees. Wow, what a great job. The price was more than I thought, but, that is what happens when you have a 17 year old water heater with a attic ladder opening that was 2 inches smaller then the new EPA regulated water heater. Plus, a badly installed AC unit exhaust ducting that was installed incorrectly. Great catch Jim. Again, what a great job he and his crew did. From start to finish. Would recommend atomic plumbing to anyone. They sent out a great technician by the name of Ryan. Ryan did an excellent job after hearing the issue and quoting me a very fair (beating the other competition by hundreds) price Ryan went to work immediately and did the best he could to be as little invasive on my home while fixing a slab leak. After finding the exact place the leak was at far away from the location the leak finding people I paid 300 for stated it was at, he fixed quickly and explained the entire way. All I know is because of Ryan I will be using atomic plumbing from now on.

I called Atomic on Easter morning when finding my water heater was leaking. I spoke with the answering service who contacted a technician who called me back 10 minutes later. After looking up our account, he said that Sean would be there within the hour. Sean arrived promptly and assessed the situation saying another water heater would need to be installed. He then called another serviceman to pick up the heater from the shop while Sean began to drain the tank and prepare for the new heater. Since the newer heater is more energy efficient, the piping needed to be entirely replaced. All throughout the process, Sean let me know what was happening every step of the way. I don't believe I've encountered a more courteous, helpful, friendlier, and nicer service technician than Sean. He made sure to have on shoe covers which was helpful on a rainy day. After he left, I had to perform almost no cleanup which is amazing for a water heater exchange/install. Give this man a raise! Thank you Atomic!

We had to get our whole house replumbed to include the main line. It was a big job with many obstacles and challenges. Atomic was not the cheapest, but certainly the most reasonable. Jim M and Trey were very helpful in solving my issue. I originally had another plumber come out through my home warranty, but they did a terrible job and left my bathroom sinks destroyed. Jim & Trey first tried to fix the situation through my sinks, before having to go on my roof and clean the issue from the roof vent on my two story house. They solve the issue, left everything clean, and even fixed a slow drip on my sink at no extra charge. They communicated the process and the price every step of the way and were very professional.

This is an outstanding company! Within 24 hours of my initial phone call, Team Leader Scott McCants was at my house, provided a professional assessment of my plumbing issue, and provided three reasonable and understandable options. After reviewing the options, Scott effected the repairs in a quick and efficient manner. Additionally, Megan (the office manager) was also very professional and (via phone calls and emails) kept me info'ed on the status of this service call. This was my first time doing business with Atomic Plumbing and now I'm a big fan. If you have a plumbing issue, call Atomic Plumbing and you, too, will become a fan!

I left an original reviewing stating that the technician was professional, courteous and efficient. So efficient that he solved the problem with my bathroom faucet in just a few minutes. But I only gave 3 stars because I felt the price was too high. The next day I received a call from Atomic, asking about the service call. After describing the visit, Paul confirmed with the tech that indeed, it was a quick and easy repair. They wanted to insure that I was a satisfied customer, and gave me a credit for an additional 25% off. The job was done right and the price is reasonable, I'd be happy to call them again, if need be.

I called them for an estimate. We just moved here. I don’t have a problem - I just needed an estimate for potential work. They told me “that’s not an estimate - that’s work to be done.” Then proceeded to say I needed to pay $95 for them to come out, look at it, tell me how much it costs and then decide if I want them to do the work. That sounds like an estimate. I don’t like companies with a “supermodel” state of mind. clearly they do not need or want new business. I have a competitor coming out to give me an ESTIMATE at no charge, who will likely earn my long term business.

Professional and Compassionate

I have been using Atomic for over 22 years and I am very happy with them. They are very professional, patient because I ask a lot of questions. Randy and Justin know every pipe in my house and they make sure everything is 100% working before their Job is done. The wonderful Ladies who answer the phones and schedule the appointments are very nice, helpful and professional.I have a old house and Atomic was and still is always by my side.

Showed up on time. Very up front about cost and scope of work. Did work quickly and cleaned up. Not sure if they're the cheapest but very personable and got the job done quickly!

Although the customer service representatives at Atomic Plumbing stated that a variety of options would be presented during the initial interview, the choices for hot water heater replacement were limited. Only one manufacturer was discussed. Ryan D. is confident, experienced, and clean mechanic. He was timely for both the initial appointment and installation appointment. I believe that changing the elevation of the hot water heater was an unnecessary expense. The pipe runs and exterior vent on the siding of the house look very good and the hot water heater functions to expectations. Ryan D.'s temperature setting seems ideal. The receipt for services does not break down material, labor, permitting. I do like the 10 year warranty on material and labor although the copy of the warranty sent did not arrive. Ryan D. cleaned up after himself, communicated well, and addressed my concerns promptly. It was a quick turn around from phone call to estimate to installation, which is particularly notable since the installation was done on the Friday after Independence Day.UPDATE: Terrific customer service, not mentioned previously, is worth noting as Beverly contacted me about the above. An inspection is in the works. The city allows up to six months for the site survey. I removed the comment that was contrary to that policy. The operations manager has been contacted about the change to the placement of the heater. Beverly knows that the warranty paperwork and welcome letter had been sent. My wife recalls seeing it in the USPS app, but not in our mailbox. It is to be sent via email this week.

We needed to replace the kitchen faucet and all the internal parts in one toilet. We called Atomic Plumbing, because we've had good experiences with them in the past.We picked a date, and were given a window of between 10 and 2, and were told that we'd get a call to let us know when their representative would be on his way over. They called this morning at 10:00, and told us that Randy C. would be coming within a half-hour. He arrived early, put on plastic booties to keep the rugs clean....gave us a price....and we ok'd the job.He was very personable, and professional....worked quickly, cleaned up after he was done...and got rid of the old parts for us.I've used Atomic before, and I'll definitely use them again. Solid, reliable company, with top-notch, experienced employees. Randy is a great representative for Atomic.Randy's been with them for quite a while, which says something positive about both him, and about Atomic.Thanks, Randy. Fine job.

Called at 2pm and had service completed by 6pm on a cold any busy day with lots of frozen pipes. Extremely fast and took the time to communicate both the issue, and associated costs of repair. Also very communicative for when someone would be by. Got an update call from the service center saying “we are a bit busy but you are still in the schedule for today”. Much appreciated so I could plan my afternoon while waiting. Highly recommended.

Ryan D. Did an excellent job. He was courteous, punctual and went out of his way to explain what was going on and what he was doing. After the job was done he checked everything in the house to make sure that all was well.He even helped me to move some tree limbs when the city trash pick up came by.

Atomic Plumbing and Drain.I can very highly recommend Atomic Plumbing. I had my hot water heater replaced with an ultra high efficiency gas model with a computerized performance package. I also had the main water shutoff valves replaced and a new toilet bowl flange replaced which was set into the concrete slab. My technician was Matt L. his work was nothing but perfect. I would ask for him by name if you were to have Atomic do work for you. I am so very impressed with Matt L’s work; I would change his title from Technician to Technologist. Atomic gave me an excellent price, and worked until all the work was done to my satisfaction. I will have no indecision about who to call if I need any other plumbing work done.

My hot water heater needed replacement. Deanna was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and most helpful. She scheduled my appointment and James M. and Aaron arrived exactly on time. They were professional and had the job done in no time! Although it was a bit more expensive than I was expecting, the service was excellent. Thank you for a job well done.

I can only try to express just how happy I was with the service provided! They cleared out the clog in my main drain line in a minimal amount of time, they were very professional and kept the house clean when coming and going. The cost was much less than I thought it would be, especially in comparison to the plumber who had supposedly fixed the issue a week and a half ago who did not adhere to a cleanliness standard, scratched up my toilet, stayed for hours and totally overcharged me. Fabulous experience with Ryan D. from Atomic Plumbing! He quickly figured out what was wrong and made recommendations for repairing our Kohler shower fixture and replacing a leaking toilet. He and the Atomic Plumbing team were able to get the parts and new toilet the same day. Ryan completed the repair and I was able to get back to work :-) Great job!

I called Atomic because we had a substantial problem where we noticed water coming through the brick exterior wall of our home outside the kitchen. Honestly, I called Craig Plumbing because we had used them in the past. He said he knew what it was because he'd seen it many times in my neighborhood and would be out the next day. I waited at home all day and he never showed! I'm actually glad that happened because that was when I called Atomic. Justin Ricker came out with a colleague of his, unfortunately I can't remember his name, but they were both so friendly, informative, very knowledgeable and pleasant! The job was done in no time and I actually messaged Justin later to say that I loved the way the new plumbing looked. That may sound funny, but it was re-designed and looked much nicer and much more efficient the way he installed the new pipes. This was a job that was a very big deal to us and we were fully comfortable trusting Atomic (Justin) with the job. We are very happy with the results and will stick with Atomic going forward, without a doubt!!!

Sean and Kale came out and efficiently diagnosed my problem and had it taken care of and my drains flowing freely again.

Deanna helped me place my service call. She was well educated, professional, and upbeat. She told me Jimmy would be my technician and he is very good at his job. Sure enough, she called me the day of to update me that they are working as diligently as possible and they still had me as a priority on their schedule. Mylissa called me to inform me Jimmy was on his way and i should be expecting him within the hour. He arrived 40 minutes later, wore booties when working inside, and made me feel very confident he knew what he was doing. He was personable, friendly, and did a great job,leaving the area as clean as when he first arrived.

I filled out the appointment form on their website at 9pm. They called me 30 minutes later to set up an appointment for the next day. Ryan came by and was very professional and knowledgeable. I had a problem with my hot water tank, within 2 hours I had a service tech Jimmy P come out and service my hot water tank. From the every beginning their professionalize stood out. He introduced himself , came in with special shoe covers. Then proceeded to explain what the problem was and why. The job was completed within 2 hours and I got an additional 10 % off the quote.
