Although no one has been detained, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office has obtained warrants for an Atlanta resident named Jamichael Jones, 33, in connection with the murder. Allegations of serious violence, criminal homicide, and home invasion have Jones wanted.
He is thought to be in the Atlanta and Jonesboro, Georgia, areas, according to officials. Spokesman Jedidia Canty said the incident appeared to be a home matter at a news conference on Sunday night.
