Ember is a sweet name that indicates that I still shining bright in the yard when playtime is over!! I LOVE PLAYTIME!
I am a good girl in my mind... I follow all the rules and don't harass my foster siblings too much... but that is all in my mind! I am a busy girl!
I was found on the streets so sad and skinny and scared, but now that I am comfortable with my foster family, my silly side has emerged.
I love kids, the more the merrier! I love other dogs, the more the merrier!! And I love TOYS, the MORE The MERRIER!!
I will keep you active and happy and loved, if you ADOPT ME!

Submit Application
Please fill out the inquiry/application form and submit on our website.You will receive info from foster/counselor in return.

Approve Application
Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Pay Fee
If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.
We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.
We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
